Patrick Daniel

After beginning his career on Wall Street, Patrick worked for Professor Niall Ferguson on macroeconomic and geopolitical problems. As a former fellow at Harvard University, he researched how individuals, markets and societies have changed throughout history. He co-founded The Future Society at the Harvard Kennedy School to raise awareness for problems at the intersection of governance and technology. He also founded Savvy, a magazine that shapes the dialog for philosophical questions arising from exponential technologies. In Silicon Valley, Patrick has helped early stage startups accelerate their growth.Patrick has a degree in history and politics, and a degree in economics and philosophy. He graduated from the London School of Economics and was named a Young Scholar at the Institute for New Economic Thinking. He is a contributor for The Huffington Post and the host of Pensive, a podcast that engages world-renowned thinkers and doers on philosophical questions.
